It's the last week of classes and the pressure is onnnnn!
Gosh, to be honest, I'm not too happy with the way this class went/ran. I was talking to a couple of course mates who agreed on the same points I have a problem with, regarding this class. The first of which being- The professor's tone and way of teaching. I find him incredibly monotone and not too engaging at all. I mean, yes, I get that its a programming course and that requires him to stand behind his MacBook the entire lecture, but still, there could be more engaging ways of doing that. The fact that this lecture is at 9 am doesn't help either. Secondly, the professor wasn't too clear about the assignments, for the course. I went and spoke to him directly, asking questions about the Sneeze assignment and he wasn't able to help much, I was basically told to go read over the assignment instructions page, posted on the course website. Sigh. The assignment has been posted in an unclear format, the font and wording of the instructions doesn't help either.
I don't know.. I mean I was expecting a lot more from this course, and I'm left quite disappointed.

Midway..
It's midway through the semester, and things are getting intense! Who knew Dr.Racket would have such confusing things up its sleeve!
Gosh, programming is quite difficult, and this is just a first year course! I definitely think this is way more in depth than what the course description explains it to be. This course is much more than an introduction to computer programming. I'm absolutely new to this side of computers and its quite a struggle for me to keep up.
sigh

MIDTERM SEASON!!!!!
Oh my god.. This past week has been absolutely crazy, school wise. I missed my Computer Science quiz last week because I slept in (gosh, so embarrassing!), because up till 3 am studying for a midterm I have on Tuesday. And another on Wednesday and then the computer science one on Friday!
This is madness!!!
It's been a while since I opened Dr.Racket and resumed trying my hand at basic programming functions, but I've been keeping up with the lectures and videos for this course, so I'm hoping my lack of constant Dr.Racket practice won't be too hard on me, come exams.
I do want to get back into the programming side of things as soon as these midterms are over and life can go back to normal. Another week, another aim!

First month of classes done
The first month of classes flew by in a flash, and now the dreaded midterm season is upon us!
Computer Science has picked up its pace, the course material is getting more complex and constantly building on the stuff we started putting together in the first couple of weeks.
Dr.Racket functions are getting alot longer and it gets confusing at times, to try to keep a track of everything.
I'm keeping up, as of right now.
Let's see what comes ahead!..
